Make barcodes that contain anything
Keeping a list of website links on hand for others to scan
When you open the app, you’ll see two sections on the top left hand corner of the screen: ‘List’, and ‘Create new’. ‘List’ displays the barcodes you have made, and ‘Create new’ allows you to make new barcodes.
If you navigate to the ‘Create New’ section, you will be asked to enter the name of your barcode and input some text or a link under ‘Barcode value’. Then, you will have to pick a barcode type or let the app choose for you. Make sure there are no mistakes while making the barcode because you cannot edit it!
This app is useful when you want to share large PDFs or files with others in person. However, Kobi is not really sure what this app is for outside of that – Bluetooth and online messaging platforms seem to work just fine!
It allows you to create multiple barcodes, so you can use this app to share websites quickly to a friend by letting them scan the barcode on the app.
If you want to pick your own barcode, you must have some knowledge about barcode names and how they appear. The barcodes are listed with their technical acronyms like ‘UPC’ and ‘PDF147’, instead of names they’re commonly known by, which made the selection confusing.
