Access downloaded Microsoft Word documents
Good for:
Opening and viewing Microsoft Word documents
How it works:
Press ‘Browse files’ from the menu. You will be asked to allow the app to access your phone’s memory card. A list of documents you’ve downloaded will show up for you to choose which one to open.
The good:
After allowing access to your memory card, the files automatically appear and stay in the app. This was easy and convenient! The ‘History’ option in the menu shows files you recently opened so you can access them quickly.
The bad:
This app doesn’t allow you to edit the document. That would be a really useful function. Perhaps in the next version? 😉 Exiting the app also causes your phone to lag while loading the home screen.
