Dig up treasures, watch for dangers.
A constantly challenging game to beat.
You are an archaeologist digging for treasure. Press the ‘4’ and ‘6’ number keys to move left and right, ‘5’ to dig the block directly beside you, and ‘8’ to dig straight down. To win, you need to collect a total of 500 points from various treasures (worth 25 to 30 points each) before the time runs out.
Other than treasures, there are also monsters buried in the soil! Here’s a tip: The monster icons are always moving, while treasure icons are static. Avoid those monsters, because when you get hit by one of them, you’ll lose time!
This game is simple to play, but hard to master. No matter which direction you dig, you can’t go back up. So strategise before you dig! The 8-bit pixel design for this game works very well on the eyes, too.
The game is mostly in black and white, so it would have been easier to learn how to play if the app told you the difference between treasures and monsters.
