How it works:
Kai Nightscout’s stated aim is to provide your glucose status to relatives, but the app fails to deliver. You are prompted to input a Nightscout URL, but after you do, the app displays ‘Current Glucose Value’ briefly before redirecting to the KaiOS store. It’s unclear if the app needs to be linked to a separate health device to function or if it’s simply faulty.
The good:
None that Kobi could find, unfortunately.
The bad:
It doesn’t fulfil its intended purpose and lacks clear instructions for use.
