When you open the app, you’ll immediately see details of the moon’s current status. It will tell you its position, distance from Earth and the constellation it is under. To change the date, press ‘Date’ on the bottom of the screen. You’ll then see 3 boxes in a column: Date, Month and Year. Use the D-Pad to highlight the ‘–’ or ‘+’ buttons on the left and right of each box, then press the mic button to increase or decrease the date, month or year. When you’re done press ‘Save’ on the bottom right and the homepage will display information about the moon on that date.
The information is presented in a concise way, so it is easy to understand information at a glance. The app’s background also features a moon that changes to match the current moon phase stated on the app.
The dates would be much easier to adjust if I could hold the buttons on the D-Pad instead of repeatedly clicking them to skip to the date, month or year that I want.
