Socks Monster
A weirdly adorable catching game.
Good for:
A good chuckle while training your reflexes.
How it works:
Use the D-Pad to move the blob-shaped sock monster left and right on the title screen to familiarise yourself with the game’s controls. When you’re ready to play, press the mic button. Catch falling socks for the monster to gobble! As you play, the socks fall faster.
When three socks touch the ground, it’s game over. If you’ve beaten your best score, the sock monster jumps for joy. Otherwise, the sock monster will look sad!
The good:
The game’s hand-drawn graphics make everything look adorable, including the enthusiastic sock monster, which looks like it came to life from a sketchbook. The game never lags, too!
The bad:
Nothing.
