Give it a miss if:
When you open the app, press the mic button and a search bar will appear for you to look up places in the world. The ‘Position’ option on the bottom left will also appear, which you use to close the search bar. You will see an ‘About’ option on the bottom right too, which gives you instructions on how to use the app.
Use the D-Pad to move around the map, and the number buttons 1, 2 and 3 to switch between map types. Number keys 4 to 9 show different routes to take if you are hiking, cycling, skiing and more.
The good:
You can zoom in on any place on the map up to a 100-metre radius, and roads will still be displayed clearly!
The bad:
The app may lag a lot due to ads. When you switch to other map layouts, it will take some time to show up. It also often fails to place you in an accurate location, and doesn’t display buildings if you zoom into particular cities. If you would like to use this app, best to have a backup plan!
